I recently came here for a friend's birthday event! The venue has great accommodations, service was amazing, but most of all the food was delicious! The food was served family style and there was plenty to go around. They will also let you take home the food in to go boxes. Amazing!!

Had the wedding reception of my dreams at Paracel!! HUGE shoutout to Matthew for hearing our vision of creating a rave for our friends and family and bringing that to life!!! Paracel seafood restaurant is such an amazing reception if you're a bride looking for your guests to leave FULL and to have a great time! Paracel offers an 8-course fixed menu, and has a large dance floor with curtains that light up. There's an option to hire Matthew, the restaurant owner's son, as your DJ/MC and believe me- if you are going with this restaurant, HIRE HIM!!!! He is such a fun MC who can also speak Vietnamese! He truly brought the party and all my guests loved his energy! We also told Matthew we wanted a mix of pop and EDM and he was able to play the tracks we had asked for! The DJ package also includes cold sparklers and fog machine! The sparkler and fog machine made our dance look so much more magical. There's also a spotlight that Matthew can turn on and that also adds to the first dance. Matthew is a wizard and he knows exactly when to use the fog machine, sparklers and spotlight for the best effect. People told me the first dance looked absolutely magical with everything combined! Paracel also offers upgrades if you want to make your dance floor white instead of the typical brown. I honestly don't know why people would choose any other reception venue other than paracel. I truly believe paracel is the best among the Asian reception venues we toured as it has so much more. Food review: 8 course meal, overall was good! Menu included typical Vietnamese staples such as Bo luc lac, Peking duck, crab soup, etc. Open bar had a wide selection, and they allow you to get shots. The shots are not watered down. Overall I would recommend this venue to anyone. Good value, fun reception site, amazing DJ/MC (who also doubles up as a bartender and coordinator). You will be thankful to have booked with them. A lot of my guests the next day texted me saying this was one of their top favorite, most fun weddings they've ever been to. Matthew, if you're reading this. It's because of you and the party you created for us. Thank you!!!

This restaurant is amazing. The food is delicious and the venue is beautiful. The servers are always helpful and willing to answer any questions. I will definitely be hosting my next event here!

We had our wedding here back in September of 2023 and people are still bringing up stuff about it today! All good things! First the planning was easy, everything was listed and planned from the food, the drinks, the schedule, the tables, chairs, etc. We were given options of almost all inclusive or almost all blank slate, which we loved. Paracel had recommendations for vendors they've worked with in the past so that was cool. We wanted our ceremony outdoors so we planned that elsewhere, but Paracel told us that if it rained, they would accommodate a very last minute ceremony inside the restaurant which was a huge relief because you can't really predict the weather 6 months in advance... The day of went pretty well! Everything was set up the way we wanted it. Vendors and family had no problem knowing where anything went. Parking was plentiful for our 200+ guests. Food was amazing. It was family style, Asian cuisine. People still talk to us about that six months later! Paracel even put leftovers in takeout boxes for people to take home, guests were so happy about that. The DJ/MC, Matt knocked it out of the park! We were supposed to give him a song list but we forgot but we're glad we did because Matt kept people on the dance floor all night! He played a super wide range of music from edm, to anime, to salsa, to Indian music, etc. After the fact, people would comment on how one of their favorite songs played and they were surprised it played. We were too busy the day of to notice, but it made us very happy they were so happy! He also threw in some unexpected but great moments during the reception! We also loved that his parents who run the place made an appearance. His mom is super memorable! The only thing that went "wrong" was we forgot to assign or tell someone to put out more cups and straws for our boba bar, but that's totally on us. Small detail compared to the hundreds of others! Overall, wedding planning was one of the most stressful things we had to do but we're so happy we went with Paracel. 10/10 would do again in a different lifetime (because we're never having another wedding again x] )

Matt & the team at Paracel Seafood went above and beyond to ensure my celebration was everything I hoped it would be. From the tasting, decor, food to music, everything exceeded my expectations. I received the highest level of feedback from my guests regarding the food (lobster noodles and crab soup was delicious) and the drinks (specialty cocktails). Matt's incredible MC and DJ's skills also did not go unnoticed. Several guests noted his positive energy and warm personality really added to the event. I can't imagine him not being part of our event. I would look no further and book your next event at Paracel Seafood. Thank you again so much for everything!

We had our new year's Eve wedding here and loved it. We had about 125 guests so the venue was perfect. Spacious enough for our guests but not overwhelmingly grand that our hermit crabs felt lost in space. The foods were delicious and the drinks were strong. Our guests loved it and we all love the taro dessert that Mathew's mom made. Mathew was our dj, MC and light/tech guy- and omg, he was such an MC and DJ. Great music selections-even had Cambodian music for our parents' grand entrance and some party music. As an MC, Matt was mc'ing it. Totally did not know what to expect but the bar is set high now. We LOVE that he was dressed in our colors and his staff also respected our request of no black top/jacket/shirt. He was easy to reach and very friendly to work with- answered all our questions and provided some good suggestions too. The parents were also very nice. It was a pleasure working with them. Thank you for everything :)

My friend held her wedding reception here. Everything from the food, bar, service, and environment was WONDERFUL. All of the Asian dishes were tasty and satisfying. The servers were so professional, polite, and efficient. They were on top of clearing plates and drinks to avoid table clutter. Despite the chaos of having an open bar, the bartenders provided pleasant and quick service as well. If I'm remembering correctly, the MC was the son of the restaurant owners. He was SUPER engaging and energizing. If I ever got married, I wouldn't mind having my own wedding reception here!

We finally had our wedding here September 8th and it was magical. We had our ceremony here and then our reception. Bác Thương and Matthew and the whole family were absolutely remarkable. Matthew was a great DJ and people were dancing all night. And the food... everyone went nuts over the food. We had maybe 1/4 Vietnamese guests 3/4 American guests and everyone loved the food. They even were able to accommodate my vegans! I wish I could relive this day again and again.

If I could give 100 stars, I would. If you're looking for a wedding venue, this is the one. It's a family owned business with Matthew, his dad and mom. I first spoke with Matthew's dad on the phone and he couldn't stop talking about Matthew. To throw a great party, which I did, you have to have 4 things: Fun people, great food, alcohol and awesome music. 1) Fun people- hopefully you're inviting people you vibe with bc that's what we did 2) Great food- you get a complimentary food tasting and I brought my picky Asian relatives. Surprisingly they all rated the food 95% so I knew the food was up there. Also shoutout to Matthew's mom for making all the delicious food for the 9 course meal 3) Alcohol- you're able to bring your own alcohol if you don't want to order their open bar. We took advantage and ordered the open bar and even extended it at the end. Open bar comes with their bartenders. Can't have drunk people pouring their own shots haha 4) Awesome music- This was definitely what sold me. When I met Matthew, he said "I could play you a set" and right then and there, I knew he was "the one". He knew exactly what we wanted and at night he turned our wedding into a club/rave. It was so lit that our guests are still talking about how amazing it was. He knows how to read the crowd and he's also the MC. He is the ultimate package. I didn't focus a lot on my decor or flowers because I knew people would forget it. Matthew also referred my florist, which then referred me to my hair and makeup artist and cake bakery. I just love how they've worked at Paracel before so it made everything stress free for me. I'm from LA, so coming to the OC is a trek. In the end, this wedding was worth every single dollar! If you want a boring wedding, book somewhere else :)

A great place for a wedding. A good size to accommodate probably 250 guests comfortably. Bartenders and wait staff were friendly and fast. Attending my cousin's wedding and we all had a wonderful time. Parking was easy. The MC was entertaining and the owner is out and about making sure guests are enjoying themselves. Be sure to check them out if you're considering a venue for company function, birthday party or wedding. Thank me later.
